A few weeks ago I wrote a post on morning rituals of famous entrepreneurs. Once I shared it, I received a lot of questions about my own morning ritual. So today, I want to share a little bit about what I do every morning to set myself up for a great day.

1) I wake up, boil water and start drinking Tulsi Holy tea.

2) Then I light incense to set a peaceful mood.

3) After that's set up, I meditate. I love using the Calm app to get in the right head space for my meditation.

4) Once I've meditated, I do something that most people would never consider doing: I take a cold shower.

I first read about taking cold showers in Tim Ferriss' "The 4-Hour Workweek." When I learned about this practice, it sounded like the perfect mental challenge. After all, committing to this ritual is pretty hardcore and definitely a test of mental toughness.

Once I started, I realized that not only is it a great challenge, but I started to actually feel tangible results after taking my cold shower each day. I've found that it wakes me up like nothing else I've tried, keeps me alert and gives me energy that lasts throughout the day.

Studies have shown that in addition to the benefits I've experienced, cold showers can ease stress, speed up recovery and relieve delayed-onset muscle soreness, improve immunity and circulation, stimulate weight loss and so much more.

My challenge to you this week is to start just one day with a cold shower. I promise, you'll refreshed and ready to tackle the day!

Cheers,

Ravi
